This is how it all started…
I am a Fiduciary. I have a Math & Computer Science Degree from the University of Waterloo. I returned to school in 2010 and earned my CFP (Certified Financial Planner) Designation and my CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) Designation. I am the President of the Peel Halton Chapter of Advocis (volunteer role). Advocis is the Financial Advisors Association of Canada. There are 40 Chapters across Canada in Advocis. I am a Certified National Indoor Volleyball Referee – I usually referee at the University & College level across Canada. I am a Certified Sitting Volleyball Referee – I refereed sitting volleyball at the 2017 Invictus Games. There were 28 Countries who participated in Sitting Volleyball and I got to meet Prince Harry – in the semi finals I refereed England versus the USA and England won and so Prince Harry came down to thank the Officials.
What do you specialize in? What are your greatest strengths?
Financial Planning for incorporated business owners with a special focus on Doctors & Dentists. I am a confident public speaker and I coach other financial planners on how to market to Doctors & Dentists.
At the end of the day, what do you find the most rewarding about what you do?
I help people to protect themselves and their families from Life’s speed bumps – so I put bumper guards around everyone (Life, Disability, & Critical Illness Insurance), I help people to leverage their corporations to fund a pension plan that can be turned on as a “tax-free paycheck” in retirement. I help to make sure that people don’t run out of money in retirement through planning.
